My Z30 is not recognizing my device password. Any ideas what causes this? I'm worried that this will cause a security wipe. Thanks!

Try forcing a reboot.

Have you tried hooking up to Link and providing the password when it requests one?

You will not get a answer to your questions here. I've been there done that. You will get, how do you forget your password, you stole the phone and so on. I have had it happen twice and wiped my device. Now I am running my phone unlocked. Yes unlocked. It's a better alternative of getting my device wiped.

Did you get the message "type BlackBerry ....." to continue after several failed attempts?

It tricked me and after key in BlackBerry and enter my password, my device can recognized my password.

Read the instructions carefully after several failed attempts!

Yes it does have you type BlackBerry after so many attempts. You have 10 tries to get it. If I remember, it will tell you to type BlackBerry after five. I'm guessing they did that to let you know the keyboard is working correctly.
