Hi just got my z30. I will past a review later next week. I have a question is there a way to watch a movie that's on my z30 on a ipad via cable or streaming? I bought the movies from BlackBerry World as they were .99.

    Thank you for the help!

Why do you want to watch them on the IPAD? Connect your HdMi cable to your Z30 and watch it on a big screen HDTV.

Funny thing is you don't need to connect anything to watch it on the big screen. If your TV is connected to your wifi/router you can stream basically anything to it

Yes. You can do that. But presumably he has high definition movies and the WiFi bandwidth is not 1.5Gb/s or higher, as that of the HDMI cable..so you will loose resolution. However, Z30 is not 1080p...so it may not make a big difference.

Unless you've got only1080p full hd 5.1 movies on your phone I doubt you'll see much of a difference. Picture clarity is surprisingly good

Yes I use the hdmi cable at home with my HDTV. Works great! I plan to travel and wanted to see if there was a way to view the movies on the ipad using the z30 (sd card) where the movies are saved. Anyway thank you for your replies.

I guess when you travel, you may not have arouter and wi-fi TV.
I do carry a short HdMI cable with me when I travel to US. Most hotels have HDTVs but not wi-fi TV.
