We are all different and to each their own. I used to like my Android phone, even though it was shi* hardware (sensation) but it was very customisable and a new os would give me a new phone. It lagged a bit, but everything does....The battery was a damn site better than my Z10 though (in my humble opinion)

I don't know what it is, but I've never been a fan of Sony phones. The newer ones offer the latest and greatest specs, but they still aren't attractive to me for whatever reason. When I think Sony, I just can't think phone LOL

Just WTF are you talking about, seruously? Endurance? Z and Z1 and Z Ultra can withstand drops, dust, sand, heck they can record video underwater...

Performace? A Snapdragon 800 at 2.2GHz, running Android natively, unlike BB10 which runs in on top of its own stack, inherently slower - and it's a given that everyone will use Android apps because app lineup sucks on BB10, period...
Z1 is a beast, we know that already, and Z30, if indeed turns out to be the rumored measly old dual-core platform with 720p screens, will be just another outdate device from BB as always, clearly making it impossible to ever fulfill all the promises BB10 supposed to offer...

My Z10 disagrees, especially when using BBM. That thing needs two cores and an extra battery pack just for itself

I'm 99% sure you're wrong. They will try to flog them at �550 and gradually lower the price to �500. It's their flagship device and they still think their brand is worth something.

My 70 year old mother can see the difference between 1080p and 720P. If you can't you need glasses. You sound like my friend who took out her cheap Sony headphone and put in my $200 Shures and said she didn't hear a difference. Turns out she had lost 50% hearing - - ooops. Get it checked.

Next Android runs just as efficiently or more so than BB10. Sorry - it's just true. You want to compare Android 1.1 to Blackberry - then compare it to BB OS5.

There is no metal on the casing of the Z30. Its plastic and a glass weave back.

Wouldn't surprise me, until the 9500 all BBs had plastic screens. And since then, the Flagship OS7 device - 9850, had a plastic screen.
