I had no issue paring the Z30 to my handsfree bluetooth device in my car. The phone and voice control app all work just fine.
The issue is the Maps Navigation does not work on the Bluetooth device, the strange thing is that it only works on bluetooth while I'm on a call, as soon as the call ends, it goes back to the Z30 built-in speakers.
Any idea or recommendation on how to fix it so that the Maps Navigation is using the Bluetooth full time?
Thanks
I'm in the same situation with my Q10. I think is a limitation of the bluetooth in the car. Some cars have a more advanced bluetooth and you will be able to hear the navigation voice and even play the music from your SD card. If you find anything to help please post because I will love to get the navigation voice to work. By the way I have a Infinity FX.
I have a similar issue with my toyota highlander bluetooth... I can only hear the directions if the music player on my Z30 is playing music... if I pause the music, I get the turn by turn directions over the music system. Not perfect, but it works!
Same here i have a Parrot Brand Bluetooth in my Holden Cruze and connection to the Bluetooth is fine but when in maps, spoken direction is over the phone ONLY>
But i am not sure i would want it over Bluetooth (too loud) softer over phone
I tried this morning. I have Ford Sync in my car. I had to tell sync to use Bluetooth audio, which of course opened my music, which I closed and then the directions came over my stereo.
