Hi guys, I just discovered something really cool, maybe it's nothing special and you all knew about it, but I didn't.
It's the light sensor which in extreme light conditions makes the screen at least 50% brighter, even when the screen brightness is 100% already. I tested it with a very bright torch, just focus the light direcly on the ligt sensor as close as possible and look on the screen. It's bright like on LCD screens. Just wondering if there is any way to enable this option when needed, not only when the sensor is forced to work. Sorry for language...

Maybe the force was like when it actually needed to work? Also so you could just use the quick pull down settings to change brightness!

There is no option for that. Is the 100% brightness not enough? Personally, 50% is enough for me.

For me 100% is enough, but many people say it's not. So maybe people should understand that it's going brighter when really necessary!!!

When you set the brightness to 100%, you are just setting the threshold to that percentage. That doesn't mean it will run 100% all of the time...you are essentially setting what the highest brightness will be when needed. The HTC One sensor works that way as well.

I understand but also what I want to say is that I never noticed such bright screen in the sun light. Maybe it is not that noticeable when we are outside in lovely sunny day. Anyway, now I love my z30 even more...
