I sure wish things went differently when Blackberry made the BB10 operating system. My Z30 is the best phone I ever had. It just came to market 5 or so years too late to stem the tide of iPhone. Oh well. I'm encouraged by what Onward Mobility is trying to do, but if they ever get a 5G phone to market, it will be an Android and not BB10.

If it wasn't the iPhone tide, it would have been Android or maybe Windows..... BlackBerry was a small company even back then. BlackBerry really needed to spend another $10 Billion on the platform to even be in the same ballpark, that's just more than they could afford and the founders knew it, why they jumped ship before BB10 even launched.

I'm gald OM is trying to do "something", but if your a SLAB fan, I'm not really sure what your encouraged about.

Got me a Z30 last week in great condition for its age. It had 10.3.2.X installed so I autoloaded the latest 10.3.3 and used the BB assistant to get past the WiFi during setup. Skytube refused to load so I deleted it. BBtube loads videos and sometimes stops...sometimes videos play to the end. Feels sluggish compared to the Passport but still a great phone. My daily phone is a Nokia 6300b yet at times I feel the need to check out stuff on a web browser or take a decent pic. Only problem is the Z30 is huuuuge compared to the Nokia.
