The phone arrived at my home 1 hour ago!
After the initial setup, it installed an update. Now I'll start to play with it! Can't wait.

I got mine today. The transfer from the Z10 was not very smooth, saying that data could not be transferred because the BBID on the new device was different from the old one (but I had signed in the BBID first), and although I had signed into gmail etc on the new one first, I got messages that the password etc was invalid. I had many of my apps on the Z10 in folders but the folders don't get transferred so I have loads of apps randomly on my screen and I will have to put them all in folders again! Some didn't transfer across at all and I had to redownload them but didn't have to pay again as BB world must've remembered. And some apps missing from BBWorld for the 30 eg nectar/sainsburys and probably some more I will find later. And Evernote is not listed in the hub like it was on the z10. Apart from that, the size is just right and it has a well-made feel. I thought it might be too big bit it's not. Love it really! Oh and whatsapp doesn't seem to be able to send itself a text to validate my number which I haven't changed...

Wow to be honest not much of a huge size difference but maybe enough. Can't wait to go into Telus next week and look at it. I'm pretty sure I will get the new Z-30.

Just got mine this afternoon. STA100-2 made in Mexico. Unlocked jakarta indonesia $775.
Side by side with Xperia Z, above ipad 1.

Got an STA 100-2 from a US company GSM Nation, got it overnight at work today. Saw them when I lurked here for my z10 so I figured id get the z30 from them.

Got here for me at work a little bit ago.

it is 100-2 model but that works for me since I move around for work alot and I have a pay go at&t HSPA. I have to go to the middle east alot so this one works for me. Was a fair bit cheaper than anywhere else so I went with it. Id rather spend a 100 bucks less for decent HSPA.







First thoughts, not sure how I feel about the weight but alot more ergonomic for the screen size than most of other large screeners, OS runs wayyyy smoother than the z10 did.

The red Z10 is a Limited Edition, distributed to developers who produced BB 10 apps as well as some VIP's, I believe. You can find a couple on eBay -- typically for a hefty premium over other Z10's.

Also, I might have to pass on my Z10 now I am using my Z30 for week... (Still debating with myself on size form factor)

Got mine here in Vancouver, Canada. Phenomenal phone. Best phone I've ever had. Huge improvement from Z10. LTE works with 2600 band.

Anyway, just got it few hours ago.
Love it over Z10. ^_^. It is very solid. I just wonder about the scratch resistance of the back cover.
I do prefer the back cover of Z10 than its on Z30

I have a Z10. I popped into the local Vodafone store today at lunchtime (my carrier doesn't stock the Z30 yet). I have to say, it feels and looks fantastic. The build quality really does make it fell like you're holding a bit of expensive kit.

Personally, I won't be getting one, as I'm only 8 months into 24 months on my Z10 contract, and, even if they stocked the Z30, it would be �600+, and also, it is, effectively, just a slightly bigger Z10 (and I still wouldn't risk a non-swappable battery, despite the claimed usage).

What I would say tho', if you're due an upgrade, or just have the cash spare, the Z30 really is worth a look from what I could tell today.

I don't want to go and try one as I am happy with my Z10 and I really don't need a bigger phone. If I handle one I am bound to want it.

Yeah, there is always that danger! It is lovely tho', but the jump from BB7 to BB10 was well worth it for me. I have 10.2 on my Z10 anyway, and have never been a fan of phones with screen that need 2 hands to operate, so, unless it was a free upgrade, I wouldn't probably anyway. But temptation is a pain the a**e....

^ many are running 10.1 not 10.2. Ppl claim 10.2 is smoother and the z30 is shipped with the updated os. That and it has upgraded cpu/gpu makes sense to me.
