Typical for OS 10.3.3.2205 in particular.
The only way to solve it is by using an autoloader to wipe and install a new OS.

Download to PC, unzip it, plug in device, and run the autoloader.
Conite, I am having the same situation on my wife's new Z30 that bought earlier this year. I have installed OS version 10.3.3.3216 on her phone. It messed up the first time about a week after I set up the phone. I reloaded it and it worked great until mid May. Is there a lower OS version that I should install to alleviate this problem as I don’t want to get into next year and have this happen and not be able to load BlackBerry apps back onto the phone when BlackBerry World shuts down

If there is one that you would recommend, would please give me a link to that autoloader. Thanks in advance.

Same thing happened to one of my devices on an older version (I can't remember which it was), autoloaded to '3216 and it happened again after a few months. At this point I'm wondering if it's more of a hardware issue?

My Z30's OS version is 10.3.3.2163. I never had any problems at all.

All you can do is run the autoloader again.
Is there not a lower version that is going to be more stabile?
No. The latest is the best. It is what it is.
You can try any version in the 10.3.3.xxxx family (there are 5 I believe) but .3216 IS as stable as they come. Nothing better. Just ask almost anyone still using a BB10 device. I don't know what happened with your experience but it was just a fluke imo.
Why am I having this problem with the Z30. Have updated all my BB10 phones and this is the only one having this problem. Just curious.
So you said in your first post that the Z30 worked fine for the first week "then messed up".. What exactly happened? Did she or you add anything suspicious? How can you explain that it worked fine for a period of time twice after re-loading? I would check the hardware with BBVE. The point is that there is nothing wrong with .3216 - it has to be either some app you are installing/using or the hardware is malfunctioning.
This happens to me as well on .3216. The Z30 is no longer my daily driver but I think it happens after I turn my Z30 on after a long time.
IIRC, you get logged out of BBID if a device has been off for more than a week. Could that be what causes it?
That is exactly when it happened for me the last time, after being turned off for a period of time.
Nah, doesn't happen on any of my other old devices.IIRC, you get logged out of BBID if a device has been off for more than a week. Could that be what causes it?

I believe this issue has only ever impacted the Z30.
Even so, this would be a much more widespread issue if that were the case. There's gotta be some other cause...

This is a regular and normal occurrence on the Z30 exclusively.
Every time someone turns it off for a week?

I don't think it happens every time but maybe once every X week long shutdown there's a risk?
Added or changed nothing. Loaded the exact apps that are running on my passport SE as well as my other BB10 phones. This is the only phone that seems to have a problem. It is running on T-mobile.

Does anyone know of a autoloader link that is working? Thank you! I too love my Z30

It frequently happened to my Z30 if I let the battery drained completely. So if you turn your Z30 off for long time then it could happen.
Wife and I both have Z30s. Eventually she went to KeyOne and I to a Motion. Never had an issue. Recently went back to Z30 as a second phone, and had this issue. So, seems to lend weight to the idea of being off for a long while creating this issue. Loaded latest OS, seems solid now.
