    I have a 16GB version of Z30 which I got yesterday still running 10.2.1.2977.
Currently I have about 10.7GB available internal storage space.
Now I don't know how large the next OS 10.3 version will be but would this be enough to install?
I'm pretty much a boring person when it comes to smartphones, because I never even download or store much data on my phones anyway. So will I be OK to install 10.3 when the "full" version becomes pushed out on these phones?

Also, when these new OS versions are installed, will the new versions remove the previous OS version system files in order for it to compensate for the space?

    Thanks

You should be fine with ~11GB free space. People have installed 10.3 over 10.2.1 using Sachesi (very similar to an OTA update) just fine. The OS itself is around 2-3 GB at most, and even then, the new one overwrites the old one.

You'll be okay. Just keep an SD card in for pictures and movies.

That's what I meant, if the new update overwrites the old one, will it still compensate for space?

16GB was the cheapest price due to my budget limits....
But I suppose I can live with this.

The current generation of BB10 phones only come in 16 GB internal storage, so you didn't really have much if a choice, lol. But either way, you'll be fine with 10.3.

If you are that "boring", you have more than enough space. I have a a number of apps and loaded the 10.3 (thanks xsacha) on my old z10 to test it out. May try the z30 later, but it is tied to my employer's BES, so I'm hesitating a little. But on the z10, 10.3 is looking good.

yes the OS will replace any OS you have on there like Thursak said. You will have plenty of room for the OS and apps.

Which carrier has 10.3? Currently none do, nor do we know if any will carry it right away after the Passport launches this week.

And if you're planning on using Sachesi to grab it from a carrier's server, you're essentially performing an OTA (i.e. non-destructive) OS update.

If I remember correctly, I had between one and two GB of internal memory free, so you'll be fine with 11GB.

Hi, I just managed to install OS 10.3.0.738 from Sachesi 1.9.2 on my Q5. The update size was 1.56gb and my Q5 had no problems updating with half the size of internal storage to that of Z30. Post my installation, I had 1.8gb space left on my device internal memory.. so z30 should be cool.

No, no one know for sure. They don't announce these things.

Look in the leaked/ Beta OS section. No it won't connect to Blend, the passport is the only one that can at this point.
