$550 is a better price, not good, but better. About $400 is fair for what the Z30 actually offers. Paying any more than that is overpaying.

Lol and I accidentally read yours. Where in the real world can you get a freshly released device that matches the performance of the Z30 for $400.00. Well perhaps on Craigslist or kijiji but those usually have no warranty included.

If you are comparing to Android phones maybe but it could be argued that the better battery life and better OS are well worth the extra money.

I love mine and I paid 750.00 (600.00 + 150.00shipping, taxes fees). I had to get it from Canada. Point is I LOVE this phone. If you want it now go for it. If you want to wait for a few months, the price will probably come down a bit. The 550.00 price at VZW is a great price for a great phone. I would have jumped on that if I was on VZW.

I bought two Z10's when they first launched without regret too. They have been great phones. I'm passing my Z10 down to another of my sons, since I now have this wonderful Z30!
