    Hi all,
I am having my BlackBerry Z30 for two weeks now.
My initial thoughts were to get a pocket case as usual, which I did...
The case was great; however, given the size of the phone, it introduced extra dimensions and weight.
After reading review of the flip case, on CB, I ordered one as well.
    Today I got it!!!
    It is fantastic!!!
All I can say is that with the Z30 size, packet doesn't suite it really well.
In this size category, flip case I'd better.
And this particular one is excellent!!
You will need to remove the back cover in order to fit it on.
    And there it is!!!!! Perfect...

    Cheers,
    Nikolaj

BlackBerry makes them. The whole reason the back plate comes off even though the battery is non-removable is so the plate can be replaced with a flip case like this.

Strange thing is that BlackBerry made them indeed but when looking at their site you cannot press the button "BUY" somehow...

Maybe Ebay it needs to be then...

I bought the leather flip case from a different dealership than where I got the phone from. One place had the Z30, hut no cases and another place was vice versa. SaskTel finally hot them in at some independent dealers.

I love the sophisticated look of the flip case but the back cover is too thick and I don't like how the front gets in the way when I type. Personal preference though.

Is there actually a flip case with wallet slots for my credit cards and cash? If so I may get one.

No slots for cards. Very thin unobtrusive case.

Once the leather bend gets worked in, case gets much easier to use. After awhile if folds back flush with the phone and becomes really easy to deal with.

The fact it connects directly to the back is actually, in my opinion, a very good idea. The thickness of the case leads me to believe it will protect the device well.

My only concern is the one exposed side. Otherwiswe, great case.

Fold the front cover to the back; it works great for me. And I don't find the Z30 bulky. It may take getting used to for some people.

I have the flip case on the Z30 and love it. After a few days of bending the front cover it starts to sit flat on the rear making typing easy.

Only one issue I have with the case. Once it's on, I can't get it off without breaking nails. Seriously I've tried everything to remove this case and I can't. Any pointers anyone?

Break nails. Once you get a nail in slide it to the side until it opens a crack.

Hope you try to get off the back cover from the "bottom" by the Paratek area. Gently but firmly start from middle and then work your way out. I find this method works for me.

Nope still won't move.. lol.. seriously, I need to swap sims quite a bit when I travel and for this reason only, I probably wouldn't use this case. Saving that, when the back is on, that is a struggle too... perhaps I just have weak nails? lol

I ordered one, I was using the tri-fold with my Z10, so it wont be a big stretch with the Big Z. I wish there was a tri-fold like the one for the Z10. It doubles as a stand in both modes.

I see one on ebay with a slot for a couple credit cards. Doesn't look like the greatest made case though.
