Hello. I'm having an issue with my z30 that has been bugging me.
Normally when I was done talking and wanted to end a call my screen would lite up when i pulled the phone away from my face so i could see the 'end call' button. but it no longer does that so Im having to swipe the screen to wake up my phone so i can see to end a call.
Please help. Thanks.

Are you using a case that could be covering up the sensor?

Are you using a leaked OS? I noticed my Z30 does this from time to time.

I did run the BBVE and the Proximity sensor test failed with or without the case. Im def not using a leaked OS. May just hav to call Verizon and try and get it replaced? Not sure what else it cld be

Mine does it too, just started after I upgraded to the latest O/S from Telus.

Did you do a back up before you did the update? That way you can go back if needed, also, did you try the reset sequence, vol up/vol dn at the same time, you will get a screen shot, but keep holding it until you see the Blackberry screen.

I have done hard reset and soft reset multiple times.

Q10 and having same issue. Happened after latest .3125 update. And further more going back to old OS doesnt help
