It doesn't work!

I select delete email from hub and server but when checking my Gmail account via a desktop, I still see the emails there.

Why?

Take a look at this article: How to prevent deleted Gmail messages from archiving when synced using IMAP | CrackBerry.com. The issue isn't the device, it's Gmail's default settings that have to be tweaked.

I already had done those particular settings long ago.

Go to your Labels tab in the Gmail setup. Ensure that under "Show in IMAP" that you have only Inbox, Sent Mail and Drafts selected. I believe that's the other part of the equation. After doing so, either reboot, or restart the hub.
