I guess I'm getting old, is there anyway I can boost the ear speaker volume to my Z30. I have putting my phone on speaker phone just to hear the conversation. Thanks!

Yeah, the only way.

I find that when holding the phone on a call in your right hand , it's very easy to catch the volume down button with the bottom part of your thumb.

I regularly hit the volume up button to counter this.

I've found the two biggest killers of the Z30 earpiece are metal dust buildup on the speaker and ear sweat, especially in the summer months. The earpiece is incredibly easy to replace if it goes out. But you can take a good neodymium magnet or an old hard drive magnet and make a couple gentle passes across the earpiece screen and gently suck through it as well. Usually clears it up for awhile. There's a couple other threads on this as well.
