    The silver bottom does bruise easily as I have noticed. I have put a rubber case on for protection, but take it off in situations where I want to show it off.

    Mine has no scratches after daily use and being dropped a few times. Screen still intact also after some careless drops.

    i have to agree on that. i dropped my phone from the chin height when i was running on the treadmill. it hit the treadmill bar several times before hitting the ground face up. the phone landed safely but the silver chin got a bit of scratch. however, after few wipes, even though the scratch is permanent but it is hardly seen. so i can say, yeah it's durable if you just put your phone on the desk or inside the pocket or anything to do with care & normal usage.
