    We all know that any sort of damages to the Z10 rendered the WHOLE screen unusable due to the digitizer and LCD being fused together or something along those lines. It also meant a costly repair.

    Is the Z30 the same?

    That's a good question? Z30 has an amoled screen I wonder if that makes a difference?

    Most modern day flagships have the fused-in digitalizers. Flagships need to be as thin as possible since people want such devices, integrating the digitalizer is one good way to do so. The Q10 also features the same technique.
    I highly doubt they've gone back to the traditional, extra layer digitalizer.
