Otterbox Commuter on my Z30. Perfect blend of protection and style. Does add a little bulk but moves easy in and out of the pocket. I've dropped mine several times with damage to the case, tears and scuffs to the rubber protection, but none to the phone. The cut out at the rear shows the BlackBerry symbol well. Overall a great case for a superior device.

I never had a case for any of my BlackBerry phones till my niece got to being 2 year old. Now she loves playing on my Z30 and the phone is too big for her hands. After I got few scratches on the edges I bought a Capdase soft back case.

The feel is just not the same any more. If has added a good 20-25gms to the weight of the phone making it bulky. Difficult even to type with two hands.

I now put a case only when I am at home with my niece.

The transform case for the Z30 isn't as good as the Z10. It's OK but it's slippery - the Z10 case is grippy. That's my main problem with it. The Z10 is easier to hold onto even caseless.

I'd just go caseless and use a holster except for how easily the 30 slips out of my hand. Could be just me though.

I have to agree, I have a transform case on my Z30 and I bought it thinking it would be the same material and feel as I had on my Z10. I have a white Z30 and the back cover is so slippery, thought the transform would provide some much needed grip but it's just as bad.

But it's super slim on the phone and barely adds any bulk so that's the trade off for me. I'm uber careful with my phones so I stuck with the Transform case and screen protector combo.

I seem to change the cases depending on where I am and what I'll be doing.

At the office and suit 'n tie, I use the OEM holster (just the screen protector too).

When I'm dropping my phone in a brief case or around town in my jacket pocket I use the OEM flip case. I like this a lot.

Finally, when I'm in the field and jumpin' in and out of the helicopter I use an OB Defender. I don't notice any problems with the screen protector on under the Defender's built in screen protector.
