    Hi everyone,

I have two almost similar phone numbers in my contact list as below:

    A: +84 90 xxxxxxxx
    B: +84 98 xxxxxxxx

It means that the only difference is digit 0 and 8 (as belong to different carriers). But A sometimes receives messages when I try to text massage to B and vice versa. I can not handle this problem, could anyone help me ?

    Thank you :x:x:x:x:x:x

I would recommend you use the contacts name instead of the actual phone number. Might be easier to be sure you text the right person.

Maybe a silly answer but I don't think your phone can do a mistake like that.

The only thing which comes to my mind is that you may have registered a mismatched number in your contacts app ? Like you saved a 0 instead a 8 in one of the field ? Maybe you have contacts merged together ?

    Hi Kjamc1982,

Thank you for helping me. Actually, I save both of them (with name) in my contact but when I send message to person B (text message --> compose --> search name), always the conversation messages between me and person A appear on screen. So I think if I continue, person A will receive message instead of B.

P/S: I also have this problem when using Nokia Lumia 800

The omly thing I can suggest is delete both contacts from from all locations and phones (assuming these are synced contacts) and manually create a new contact card for them. Also delete your phone logs before doing this.
