I am having trouble receiving images from messengers. The images I actually receive are not the one what I see in IM Apps. Is it just me or have any of you faced this?. And what can I do?

oh sorry.

Lets say that I receive image1.jpg from. whatsapp group A on day 1. On day 2, my friend sends me another image (image2.jpg). But to me it looks like he sending me image1.jpg.


let me be blunt- my close friend forwarded me an image of us two boozing. next day I find my whatsapp family group discussing over a pic - which to me appears as the same pic my friend sent.
No way my family would have got that pic. I am shocked. Later when I check from my sister's phone I see they (family) were discussing on a harmless meme.

Hope things are clear...

Sounds like a problem with WhatsApp. Delete it and reinstall it.
