Can someone verify if the Z30 has bluetooth class 1?

The Q10 had class 1 bluetooth so I'm hoping the same is offered on the Z30. Honestly, I have had issues with the bluetooth class 2 on my Z10 so much it would be a deal breaker for me if it wasn't. Even the PlayBook had bluetooth class 1. Streaming radio sucks over Bluetooth class 2 devices.

The class doesn't necessarily define the quality for blue tooth streaming you know it's the supported API or profiles!!

Class defines signal strength. Any tiny obstacle diminishes Bluetooth class 2, but since class 1 has longer range, it performs better in my experience. If you stream Slacker to the Music Gateway on a Z10 like I do, just covering the top of the phone with your hand interrupts the stream. Could not reproduce that flaw on my PlayBook. Same distance apart, same line of sight.

According to BlackBerry, the Z10 model I have is only Bluetooth Class 2.0. Therefore, the Z30 is a step up at 1.5 and possibly better at Bluetooth reception.

After reviewing all 4 variants of the Z10, it looks as though STL100-1 and STL100-3 owners (such as myself) got the short end of the stick when it came to Bluetooth. Both received Bluetooth Class 2.0, while the STL100-2 and STL100-4 received 1.5. That's odd. Why make it different on certain models? The Q10 models all have straight Bluetooth Class 1 - No 1.5. And from my streaming radio experience, Class 1 is the best for distance and/or uninterrupted stream from obstacles or any type of interference. I have no Class 1.5 products to test, but the PlayBook is Class 1 Bluetooth and is flawless in streaming.
