Has anybody felt like the battery drains faster and it takes longer to charge after the new update?

I think I'm feeling the drain but charging seems the same. I'm giving it another day or so to see how it goes.

I've noticed a faster drain as well..... Standby drain seems the same though.

I have read on the boards, and found myself, that new OS take a little while to "get used to itself ", for lack of a better term, on the phones. My battery life improves dramatically after about a week of using the new OS.

Yup higher drain for sure. Been like that since the leaked 1925 came out. Too bad official did not fix this as they stuck with the same 1925 release.

Um, no? You dropped 8% while in Standby in 8 hours. That's a fairly large drain and one of the problems with the new OS.

Yeah, mine seems to drain faster. For good measure I turned off the unnecessary stuff and will monitor over the client days...

I wouldn't say no effect, but I think part of the requirement from BlackBerry is that the app doesn't impose significant battery/CPU drainage in headless mode.

That's good to know. I figured there HAS to be a bit more drain, as long as it's not a significant amount I'm OK with that.

Yeah, and again it depends on what the app does, as well as what resources it requires (e.g. if it conducts continuous monitoring in the background or something).
