Are you even using your phone? I've only had my Z30 for a few days now and I consider myself an above average user. I use my phone for lots of media, music,videos, twitter, Igrann, bbm channels etc and I like that I usually get a full day, off the charger at 10:30am - midnight and batter has less than 10%. I'm not complaining about this, but I'd never ever be able to get more than that, even if I only used my phone for the basics.

He's not using it that often I suppose. System consumption is higher than display.

My usage wad not as high as normal. I usually get close to 2 days out of the phone. On heavy use days I get just over 25 hours but I don't wait for it to go below 9%. I also employ some energy saving techniques sometimes like turning off my 4G coverage of I have wifi. I'll post some of my other readouts though

The most I've gotten is close to 36 hours, but that was moderate use. Strictly communications and turned the display off afterwards. Also, I had exceptional 4G coverage. Apps that don't use the radio were also left open like Remember, Calendar, Music, and others.

Tuesday seems to be my charge day

in average, if i'm in Australia, i could reach up to 36-40 hours of battery life but if i go back to indonesia, 20-24 hours is the max, which is still pretty good considering i'm now a medium to intense user with tons of emails, BBM messages, RSS feeds & whatsapp messages happening every day and in average around 10-15 mins of phone call per day + bluetooth streaming everytime i drive. i hardly use my BB premium charger when i'm in Australia but in Indonesia, I have to use it for just a 15-20 mins of quick charging if i have to stay up until late.

in Australia:
- off the charger: 7.45 / 8.00 AM
- back to the charger: midnight --> in avg the phone still has around 40-45% of juice left. 90% on wifi (home & office), 10% on 3G
- on weekends --> 20% on wifi, 80% on 3G, but still the same result by the end of the day

in Indonesia:
- off the charger: 6.00 AM
- 80% on cellular network: 90% on 3G, 10% on EDGE (when the 3G reception is too faint)
- 20% on wifi (e.g. cafes or at home)
- by 6.00PM the phone still has around 30-35% of juice left, i can make it through until 10-11PM but the phone will definitely be under 10% by then so i normally charge it while driving, 15-20 mins will bring it back to around 60-70% of juice, thanks to the premium car charger
- full bluetooth streaming in car

I would guess that I use mine more than most, I'm off the charger around 5:30 and can be down to 75% by 8. That said, I commute via train, parts or which are underground with no reception, using the phone nonstop for an hour or more. After that I head to the gym which is in the basement of my building where I have zero service for another hour.

I haven't had mine that long but I wonder what my battery will be like on weekends. I came from a z10 and just got into the habit of plugging it in whenever possible. Here is my last 48 hours, you can see that I'm always just topping it off. That one dip was a couple hour binge of bad piggies.

Contrary to previous assertions they have recently found evidence that Lithium Ion batteries do have a memory effect. Since the Z30 has announced integrated battery I try not to charge it improperly. I don't charge until it runs down and don't leave it charging after it hits the 100 mark.
