Also, hardly ever use wireless because here in HK I have a unlimited data account.

Second day with Z30 and first day on 10.2.1.1055. Was on weekend so a few of phone calls, emails, browsing a bit.. Very impressive battery life. At 30% after 24 hrs.. Expecting for 20 hours at least on weekdays after OS getting stable..

Charge it overnight and take it off at around 6 am. This thing just doesn't die on me. No matter how hard I hammer the battery.

Try turning it off and test the battery for a day. That option alone leaves your screen on idle, waiting for you to touch it. Therefore, it drains the battery more than if you had it turned off. Just give it a try.

Battery is insane. It's dark side: longer to charge. Want to flog it? Load all your paid for apps and put them into several user defined folders.

What happens to vaulted battery if you try to wireless charge AND use micro USB charger at the same time?

No way for me to test this yet, but.. My experience is that CB10 is a hungry b*tch when it comes to the Z battery. It could be I use the app too much, but still.. It eats through my battery like hell.

Well check out the battery on my Z30

Little bit of use on the weekend because I was busy at work and didn't have much time to play with the phone (light Web browsing, taking a few sniff of crack on CB10 and a few emails) to moderate use on Friday and Monday.

Anyone knows if this battery builds "memory". I.e. Am I damaging it by putting it on and off the charge at any time as opposed to waiting until it is almost completely dead Before recharging? Also can the duration of the FIRST charge affect my battery life? When I first charged it it felt quite short before it showed full. I remember the days when phones came with stickers warning you to charge at least 8 or 12 hours the first time.

I try to let the battery drain as much as possible before charging, but the battery on the Z forces me to keep it on the charge whenever I can. I don't know when I'll be leaving a charge area and for how long. If I take the Z on the road without it being fully charged, it'll die on me for certain. It's getting better every major update, but it still needs more work.

*can someone tell me how to get the screenshots of nattery status like everyone has posted in device monitor? i have a z30,software release is 10.2.0.415/ os version 10.2.0.1767, where do i go to see device monitor like u are all showing battery status? i was playing, some how found it,but cant toggle to see battery like you are all showing, all i get is cpu? my phone is 3 days old, really not impressed with battery yet, i did have an icon on,NFC? i turned off,not sure if that was drawing down? thanks!

I unplugged the z30 at 8am on Thursday morning, didn't plug it in until Friday morning at 10am before it died - it was for sure below 10% by that time but wow.

Lithium ion batteries do not build up memory. However, they will be affected by heat, so draining your battery and then fully charging it really quickly would increase the battery temp and over time, the life of your battery would decrease.
