Well.. I can't find my the info I need anywhere here so I'll be asking my question in a new thread

I have a Z30 STA100-2.. can anyone tell me how this one is different from the rest of de models ?
Here is the thing. I got a Z30 from a local online store which is STA100-2. So NO verizon STA100-3.
Because it is for my GF and the white version was unavailable to buy because they stopped ordering them, i decided to make it white myself. Replace the screen and battery door. The screen worked fine bought a GSM model white screen. But the battery door doesn't fit at all !
Funny thing is, a OEM flip case fits my phone perfectly fine. But the white battery door ( GSM model ) doesn't fit.

When I look closer to the Verizon version online it seems like thats the battery door that will fit STA100-2.
But there isn't a white verizon batterydoor available, at least I can't find any.. and the eBay sellers can't help me out either.

Does anyone know how this is possible ?

- STA100-2
- OEM flip case works
- GSM screen fits
- Battery door is diffent from GSM version

Based on what I've seen so far, yes it looks like the Z30 has two different kinds of battery door.

I know that the STA 100-3 uses some different hardware than the other Z30 models (it requires a specific battery door, etc.)... my question is, does it use a different screen / digitizer? I'd love to plug a white one on here.
Has anyone tried the above, know if a specific model of screen is available, or know a good place to find one? I don't want to purchase one and have it not be compatible.

There are two types of battery door for the Z30
I bought one from some seller at
Www.aliexpress.com

You may want to do a search and se if they have it in white as well, the one that I bought was black.

I can't find any white battery door that would fit.. is there no Verizon white version? / a website that sells a white Verizon battery door?

Not sure if related or not but I also have an STA100-2 and an Mpero snap case I bought simply doesn't fit with the battery door on. I can squeeze it into place but then the phone keeps resetting as the unlock button doesn't pop back up when pressed as it's too tight.

I was under the impression that only the Verizon Z30 had a slightly thicker battery door due to the wireless charging but it seems like there is something similar going on here.
