Exactly. What Id like to find out is with a sim card (with international calling active) from one of the companies in the country where the volte is working on BB10, if someone were to roam to a place like the US or somewhere else with a different carrier would their sim card settings allow them to still utilize voice calling over LTE. The sim card is what installs the proper settings for everything from MMS, to data, to volte settings like home network domain and the proxy call session control function Pcscf, etc...
The BB10 device could possibly still operate in Europe but not here because the USA carriers are using incompatible protocols.

More to it than the CPU. It is not a software issue. Period.

US networks have a different implementation of VoLTE.
Everything you just posted is excellent info and factual info and I thank you for that. You are like a model that people of this site need when it comes to helping other people to solve their questions. I remember seeing people using volte on BB10 just not sure where they were located. I know for sure it was in Europe but not sure where exactly and what carrier.

If you were paying any attention or had any sense you would see that I did not get an answer I got a dumb comment from someone who is not interested in answering any questions involving thinking outside the box. You likewise are of no help to this thread and likewise should keep your dam peanut gallery thoughts to yourself including your little grammar lesson where once again you fail to see what I was doing there. I said the word people as a generalization but followed it up with themself to establish that I was referring mostly to one specific person. Proper grammar has its place in books but in intelligent conversations of which this thread is barely there, you should pay attention more before providing unnecessary input. Now enough of the peanut gallery, if anyone reading this knows which countries and carriers have volte working on BB10 please let me know and to everyone else with any type of stupid comment keep your thoughts to yourself nobody cares.
Yammers, is that you? We've missed you

Bonus: "Them" is plural, "self" is singular. Like you said, close but no cigar

Hi Mate. I've got a question: Which weather and maps you checked that worked in 2023 and also what version of Skype you've got on? BTW for gmail to work, two-step verification must be enabled on your google account.

Weather and maps are the standard ones that came with BB10.
    Skype version 8.15.0.419
For Gmail, I removed the account, tried to add it back, and got the error right after typing in the email login address.

Does the Weather and Map apps still work for you. On my Z10, Maps quit maybe a year and a half ago. Weather quit last summer.

Could you share a link to that skype, coz all I've found is for android 6. BTW Gmail will work but you need to login to your google account on a pc using chrome, click on security tab, and then on 2 step verification, add that 2sv and then scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click on Application passwords. Now select email, and your device type (blackberry ) generate password and voila. Enter that password on your device when adding you gmail @, save and use

I was under the impression that no version worked anymore. But the one I posted was the last one anyone had any success with.

Both apps still work. Maps still shows the map and location works. Routing, of course, doesn't work. Weather app references AccuWeather.com.
