    I couldn't recommend it more. The Z30 isn't perfect, but it's a radical improvement over the Z10.

The biggest loss is the screen resolution -- it's noticeable, I'm not going to lie. The first day or two, I actually felt uncomfortable looking at the screen of the Z30! But the fact is that I can *use* the Z30, and its screen, all day and then some: I use it constantly, with screen at max brightness, and no concessions to battery life, and haven't run out in a day yet. (Came close once, travelling.) Whereas with the Z10, I had to have the screen at minimum brightness all the time to make it through a day -- and what's the point of a beautiful screen if it's small and you have to keep it dim all the time?

There are other advantages to the Z30, but the main thing is that, coming from the Z10, there aren't any disadvantages, except the screen, and maybe the feel of the back of the phone -- I really preferred the Z10, but what the hell, it's far from a deal-breaker. If you can get a Z30 for ~$250, I think you'll be delighted with the experience.

Had my Z10 since day one of its release and had it ever since.
The hardware is great and the camera is really good. But short battery life is making me hold back on using my device like I wish I could.
I never play games for example. Or disable power saving mode or even use 3G most of the time I stick to 2G... you get the point...

So is a Z30 my savior or should I hold out for the next big thing?
Tell me what you think of the device with emphasis on the battery part of the story, please.

I would buy one now. You can get them pretty cheap unlocked. Use it until the new Blackberry Slider comes out and upgraded to that and Sell the Z30. Personally I just bought a Z30, gonna upgrade when the Slider comes out and give the Z30 to my girlfriend. The battery life is really good on it but thats usually the case on just about any Blackberry Phone Iv owned (never owned a Z10 though). Iv been using my phone off and on all day and its still at 75% battery after about 14 hours off the charger. So Id say you'd get 2 days of light to moderate use out of it before it would die.

When I switched from the z10, I was shocked at how bright the minimum brightness of the Z30 was. And the battery is insane. However I almost never call. A lot of emails using wolfram alpha, igrann, whatsapp, and taking pictures of documents. Make the switch. It isn't very expensive now, the Z30.

You just sign in to the emails and they sync automatically. When I get mine I'm gonna start fresh no device switch.

The Z30 was way ahead of its time when released and thus you will be able to keep it for along time. The battery is simply amazing. Go get it with confidence. The Z30 is a high specs phone that most people do not use. Hence the release of the Z3 and leap to make BlackBerry more affordable. The Z30 is a cracker of a unit. Enjoy.

I have had my Z30 for a year now in an otter box case and carry it in my shirt pocket the otter box being rubber covered it stays in my pocket just fine and this is is important to me working around solvent tanks daily.
The battery life is good for 18-24 hours using as z phone and emails with the occasional video. Signal strength is always good on the AT&T network
All in all I give it a 9.5 for my use

Just give it a full day to sync all your contacts, it takes time to associate them all and to link back together.

By the way how can I get Z30 in this price in Pakistan. Secondly which model is better one, please keep in mind I am comparing it with Z10 STL 100-1. I don't want a phone again with battery calibration issues and are heating up to extent where it's not usable.
