    I have my Z10 from Toronto and I have recently moved to Hong Kong. I bought my Z30 today and I have only just discovered that the OS is 10.2.0.415. The OS in my Z10 is 10.2.0.424. When I tried to migrate from Z10 to Z30 on Blackberry Link, it says my Z30 has an older version than my Z10 and so it is not possible to migrate. Does anyone know if the Z30 can get up to 10.2.0.424? HELP!!

    Not sure, but why not simply setup you Z30 as 'new'?

    It is better than way anyway, albeit it takes more time because you have to reinstall all the apps and data. But...

    I just replied to a similar post in this forum.

    You need to use Darcy's tool to change the OS number of your Z10 backup to a lower number than the OS on your Z30.

    Takes all of 30 seconds and then you can do a direct restore of your Z10 settings to your Z30.

    I had no issues whatsoever.

    Switch and restore both failed despite everything being up to date. Eventually did wipe and manual transfer for a few hours. Good to go now.
