I'm not sure if this has been answered but I was having problems when I would pull out my mp3 cord or headphones I would lose control of vol buttons on side until I restarted well I got the idea to restart the phone with headphones and it fixed it just wanted to share I hope I can help someone with the same problem just got the phone few days ago and thought I would have to take it back but with the fix back to enjoying this amazing device

I haven't experienced that problem nor heard of it yet but kudos for resolving it. BTW, what's a mp3 cord? Never heard of that one.

I had an issue where I plugged the cord into the jack and the buttons didn't function on the side. Had to remove cord, close music app, open music app and play music and plug in. Worked fine and controls were back. Sometimes the music will stay paused and I'll go play it or access the app and it says it cant read media and closes the music app. But for the most part, I've only had this bug happen to me once on 10.2.1 so far
