Just curious. I had the Q10 prior to this Z30 and loved to Q10 and was thinking about buying another one on EBAY to switch between the two.

not overly a fan of the physical keyboard after having my Z10 for the past 11 months. My wife has a Q10 and I have a hard time typing with it. No thanks.

Hey, when a man needs to have his qwerty desires fulfilled, you go Q10. Not a downgrade at all.

I'm was using the Q as my daily driver but have been doing touch with the z30 and 10 for the past week and it's been great, but the feeling of hitting those keys boy i tell ya, there ain't no other feeling in the world.

That screen must feel small and the BlackBerry Cascades user interface extra "chunky" on the Q10 after using the Z30, no?

I tried a Q10 for a few days, screen is far too small, physical keyboards on phones feel prehistoric to me nowadays.

I wouldn't, but I see why someone might. The Q10 is an amazing device, the Z30 is still my favorite, but if I was writing 20 emails I'd rather write them on the Q10.

Depends what you use it for. If you just play games and browse the internet and looks at pictures and videos, then the Z30 is way better. If you mostly email, BBM, text etc. and play little or no games, then the Q10 is 100 times better.
Yes, the screen can be a huge pain if you like to play games and watch videos all the time. Some parts of the interface can be more difficult to use in certain circumstances for that reason too which is why i wish the Q10 had a track pad. Also some games don't support the Q10 like the Simpsons Tapped but works on the Z10 fine.
For me, I can type and walk without even looking at my Q10 with very little mistakes and fairly fast too. Having to look where I'm typing is sort of going backwards to me as I'm a good typist.
If you can't decide, get both and swap your sim card or get a sim reader and create identical copy. Only have one on at a same time of course or it might cause issues with your service provider.

I would for accurately typing out emails. I'm faster on the Z30 but with typos.

I wiped my Q10 to create a new BBID so that I have a separate BBM rather than switching my BBM info, but since I've hardly used it.
