I honestly don't know how it will do. I don't. I just sold my first Q10 yesterday. We have yet to sell any Q5 and the last Z10 I sold was a month ago.

Having a Z10 I don't see the point of "upgrading" to the Z30. I will though wait for a better physical device if that ever sees the light of day.

Also not so encouraging is that we've had to send out 4 of the z10s we've sold from our location for warranty repair already. WTG BB QC department. Well done.

Seriously? Read my comment from earlier. It will be a full hd display. So stop talking about 720p. And for comparison, iPhone doesn't even have hd display and everyone is talking about how great is the screen

Was it one of the "my inside sources say" arguments? Not buying it. Too many people have inside sources that like to BS about everything and a lot of it never happens.

If it does happen, though, I'll think BB is pretty stupid for not updating their developer docs. Not cool at all.

Will get it immediately! Could really care less about specs. It's the O/S and all of the good changes in 10.2 that are going to do it for me. Does not have to have the best camera out there or specked out to the max like a lot of other phones, but if the user experience is as great as everyone says, especially running 10.2, to me this is going to be the best phone out there, that will surpass several others I am sure.

I am sure what we are hearing now is just all speculation. There are definitely going to be some changes made before it's release, no matter what anyone thinks or says. Groundbreaking? Maybe not to some, but I would welcome anything. I am buying this for the speakers and sound as well, and because I like what I see coming out of the latest software developments. This is a must have, Would be sweet if this came out early

I'm already sold just based off the leaks I've seen thus far. The phone looks beautiful. I just can't believe I won't be getting a replaceable battery. That's a real silly move in my opinion.

Let it launch then I'll make up my mind but I guess if it launches with the rumoured specs and no extra ordinary addition to the Z10 then I guess the Z10 is good for me

don't get me wrong, i'm quite happy to drop 500 on a phone, but only if the hardware warrants it.

BB10 devices so far have had very midrange specs, SoC-wise worse than mindrange phones like the galaxy mega and the sony xperia SP.

If BB want to release average hardware then I expect it to sport an 'average' price.
I just bought a Z10 from Expansys with a free flip case for 280. Bargain!

Outside of the HTC One's front facing speakers, it easily has the best sound I've heard come out of a mobile device.

For those saying it's too close to the Z10, that hasn't been my experience at all. Size alone puts it in a different league for consuming media. Processor has apps running smoother IMO, and the rounded edges make physical gestures much smoother - sort of like gliding on ice...

My take on the spec debate. Anything is possible before production release, but I don't think we've seen such a departure from pre-release hardware to production in the past so I wouldn't start holding your breath for 1080p.

More than du;al core is no us for any mobile OS. Better see 1,8 Ghz CPU and 3 Gb Ram (also no use but people love to see this) and 32 Gb memory and offcourse a 12MP camera with F 1,6-1,8 lens.

    - Yes

    - No

    - Maybe, but the 2years old specs are unfortunate.

Will You Buy the BlackBerry Z30 Despite only Dual-core and 720p Specs? (Poll) - N4BB

    Posted via CB10
Yes. BB10 is a true mobile business os..not a media consumption/user tracking and surveillance os(ios and android). Specs aren't that important as the device flies with the so called 2 year old specs.. BB10 is not a java based or desktop based(BSD) s but a true microkernel based OS(bb10) and doesn't require a quad core cpu to operate decently.

That doesn't make any sense at all, as long as a phone with far better specs, will cost the same, or less than the Z30.

If the Z30 will come close to a price of 600 Euro, and we compare that with current flagships (and the ones launching in the same quarter as the Z30 will launch), we can only come to the conclusion that we would massively overpay for a phone that has abysmal specs, compared to the competition.

Your statement would be completely logical, if the A10/Z30 will sell for faaaaar less than 600$. Somewhere in the 400$ realm.
But the way you formulated your sentence, it seems like you actually do want to get ripped off by BlackBerry, through grossly overpaying them for very mediocre specs.
