Yes, I will buy the Z30. I have poor eyesight and the larger screen is what I am waiting for.
I am not sure if this is sarcasm, but they could make the UI scale to Full HD properly without making things look small.

Moreover PPI-wise, the Z10 (which you seem to have) is about 360, and a 5" 1080p would be about 440, which is not too big of a difference (only 22%) even if they fail to scale the UI.

I want the new BlackBerry because it's new but I don't need it because my Z10 is just getting better and better! <-10.2.0.1047-> official 10.2-> ?

I'm not a phablet fan and the Z10 is a perfect fit for my hands. To me the Z10 is the perfect size for a mobile phone. If I buy a new phone it will only be for more built in memory. If apps could be loaded an run from the memory card a 64GB card would be enough for now.

Why speaking about low specs? The title of the thread is misleading. Do not need a v8 to have a performance car.
But I will keep my z10 till next year as I appreciate it. I'm not interested in phablet too so if next year there is an upgrade to the z10 maybe I will go for it.

We can have great debate on it but personally Specs does not matter, maybe it matters from a marketing point of view or for the lambda buyers. But from performance side not sure at all.
How to explain iPhone selling like hot cakes? Not for specs for sure.

Of course specs matter. It might not matter as much as the overall experience, but they do matter.

Even people who might not know WHY the amount of memory is important, minor that 2gb RAM is better than 1gb RAM. It's an easy way to market a phone. And the most important reason why specs matter? You can usually tell the difference in performance,

And the iPhone 5 has excellent specs. Almost a year after its release, just looking at bare specs it still compares favorably with Android phone and outclasses many of them.

It has 1 gb RAM, which is comparable to many phones, both Android and WP8, out there.

It's screen is top class and comparable or better than most other phones in terms of ppi.

It's dual core CPU is still the most advanced on the market, at least until we see some phones with ARMs A15 core.

And all the above is easily explained by a store rep, so yes Virginia. Specs DO matter.bnot as much as the overall experience, but they matter.

But yet the price will most probably be as high or higher than the phones in the 10% category.

Most people on this thread talk about "spec this... spec that", but I bet you, most know Boo Diddley! If this new phablet performs as good as the Z10 or better, which I believe it would, then BlackBerry can definitely count on me. The Z30 or X10 or whatever it may be called looks sweet and classy. A DEFINITE "YES"!!!!
