Hi and welcome to CrackBerry forums!
I won't be buying an A10 because I have a brand new Z10. I have an upgrade available in October, but who needs two phones?

No - it's not different enough IMHO from the Z10 I have and love. Aside from the screen being slightly larger and also being an AMOLED scree, I don't like the fact that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference on anything else AND the battery isn't removable. Call me old fashioned but I want to be able to remove my battery and replace it with a (hopefully) better one and/or when it starts to build a memory.

Hi! I am proud Z10 user also. But A10 is actually a collection of Z10 series. Just saying.

    Nope.

Not if current leaked specs are officially confirmed by BlackBerry.

The specs will change maybe not greatly but bits and pieces. But so far looks like first gen skip.Design is not looking great + amoled man, supposed no removable back.I hope this is a marketing gauge and misdirection and they drop something hotter on all fronts.

I personally don't look at the A10 with low specs for the OS that it runs. I will be adding the A10 as a replacement for my playbook.

I bought the Z10 at $199.99 from VZW....this time, I will go into a store and play with the phone a bit....then, when the sales are lower than the Z10 (and they will be) I'll probably wait for three months when I can get the Z10+, errrr....I mean A10...on Amazon for a $0.01 and a two-year contract

Thorsten already said that BB would not go into spec war.
But seeing that PlayBook can't get BB10, he should rethink that thought..

i was actually waiting for this phone, but, like everything they've done in the last year or 2, it's looking pretty underwhelming,,, can't see BB getting my money anytime soon,,, no bridge, no cash...

    Happy with Z.
Why would I when the HARDWARE QUALITY and PROCUREMENT team are just content keeping themselves and their suppliers happy.
Don't they know how far ahead is SAMSUNG in hardware aspects.
Are they bringing out an elite device or a pauper.

Let them fix the Z10 PCB issues before they get any other device or hardware out?

Take a poll how much does Z10 heats up and gets rebooted.
Lots of BB10 software loves likes us would give an honest reply about how the hardware quality has been compromised on this launch device forget A10 altogether.

I could see buying it if you haven't already upgraded to a 10-series phone, but if you've already got/paid for a Z or Q, I don't really see the value in upgrading.
Even if the specs were "better" like everyone wants, how would the A10 really be any better or different besides a slightly bigger screen?
It's not like the Z and Q are laggy or slow...at least not that I've seen

After PlayBook disappointment I won't buy anything from BlackBerry that easily. I already got tricked into Z10 thinking I can pair it with my PlayBook. Z10 is a great phone though. But can't trust BlackBerry. They do not care their users at all.

My guess is the Galaxy Note 3 will be announced around the same time. I would like to contrast and compare them live, when able to do so, and will make my decision then. So count me as a maybe for now.

    No.

It's like buying a brand new 2010 car that's been sitting on the lot for 3 years. Apart from the zero mileage, it's too old to be considered new. But save me the equivalent of the freight and PDI, and I might consider it. Lol.
