My battery life is 2 days with moderate use

What is moderate use? Because for me 50% is about 5 hrs.

Oh yeah. So I also figured since we have an oled screen that if I have a black background it would keep the b2rez (batteries) up on par. So check it out since my last pic didn't load

Also notice the ugly boxes go away while saving juice




So less battery % but more time. Funny right?

Yeah for sure. It's just a solid black pic. You may be able to find a "blacker" one on Google but here is the one I used for savings.



In between here and the text above is the pic but it's hard to see with the black theme on.

When did you load the leak?
It's gonna take a while for it to settle, so don't get confused.
If it's taken more than a week to settle, try resetting, rebooting the device once a day.
Also, check your phone settings.

I didn't load the leak
I'm still on 10.2.1.2021
Previously ppm was consuming a lot because I synced the Gmail with option forever
So yesterday I removed the account and re addled with only 3 months as sync. May be that's what's happening. The system is in syncing my emails whole on standby?

That's definitely where the problem lies. Let it complete the sync, then read all and observe for 2 more days.

Unfortunately BlackBerry does not document these things very well.

"Standby" is often just a logical entity that refers to null usage. It most likely has nothing to do with battery usage and in fact probably the higher it is, the lower the battery usage is. Like the "System Idle Process" in older versions of Microsoft Windows' Task Manager process listing. (ie Windows XP)

I'll try to verify this.
