I read in the previous thread last night it is because the backplate is too tight against the buttons by default. If you slip your nail in behind the back and the buttons and give it a mm of space they are MUCH better.

Is anyone every truly satisfied with their current phone selection? Some yes, some no. I'm not satisfied with my iPhone 4S so I'm making the jump to Q10. I can only hope it suits me well like my Curve 8530 did.

I would suggest you consider a Z series device, the keyboard is truly the best touchscreen keyboard I have used!...much smoother than the Iphone has. The Z10 at 4.2 and the Z30 at 5.0 inches both offer some more real estate for videos, gaming and web browsing, a nice jump from the iphone 4s. Also more games and apps seem to be available for the Z10 than the Q. To each their own, the Q10 is a great device but do consider it. However coming from my Bold, I don't miss my keyboard one bit!!

I would go with the Z10 but my provider is Sprint and they don't have the Z10. So my only choice is the trusty Q10. But thanks for the reference.

It's hard to believe a business smartphone needs a "camera". Anyway, maybe your volume switches were a little sensitive, mine don't seem to move much.
    You're not thinking hard.

I see what op is saying. The volume buttons on the Z30 are easier to push than my Q10, Z10 and 9900. If I have the volume problem I don't notice it but what I do notice is I keep opening the voice controls accidently by holding the Play/Pause button down and need to close voice control.

Can we turn this off some how?

LOL... Well, while your reasons for returning it make no sense TO ME, I'm not the one shelling out the cash for it.

It takes all kinds I guess. (But seriously, the Bold 9930 camera is horrific!)

    To each their own...

Z30 volume rockers are soft touch but works great. It's just the concept of the Z30.

I've never held a Z30 so i can't comment on the weight or the design of the volume buttons, but i've never experienced this on my Z10.. i'd recommend testing out the Z10.. it's still an amazing device even though it's been out for almost a year (In Canada)

I've had both Z10 and Z30. Volume controls are similar on both. One can touch the controls accidentally on both devices.

For me, it's not a deal killer. A body can get used to anything except a pebble in your shoe.

Edit. I re-read the OP's first post and saw they mentioned BlackBerry's money situation, but erroneously. BlackBerry has billions in pure cash. BlackBerry has revenue streams too.

The OP has the right to be finicky and the right to change her mind later too. But BlackBerry has oodles of cash.

Well, we have a thread that covers these kinds of things. We do not need an individual thread for everyone that feels the need to hash it up over a phone change.
