You should Press/HOLD on a file link and be offered the opportunity to download.

Try a restart:

Press and HOLD both Vol Up/Down buttons. Keep holding while the screen goes fully black (ignore the screenshot), keep holding through the Black/White logo and when the Colored Logo shows up, release those buttons.

If you have a Z10: If you have the STL100-1 variant the volume button reset method doesn't work. In that case, Press and HOLD the Power On Button until you see the LOGO as above

Explain the steps you are using and what happens?

Maybe share the link where this problems happens?

Are they being downloaded into INTERNAL memory rather than the sd card?

I do long press until it shows save as/ set as/share as/ on right hand side, then I select save as, then it goes to internal memory / SDCard as crackberry image, then I click save button on right hand corner, but nothing is saved, seems last update for crackberry / Os update not allowing me to do so.

I'm updating the OS right now so can't try it.

But make sure that the file is saved with a jpg (png) extension. Sometimes it might lose the jpg extension. Can you save to Internal Memory and then move it later?

it s not saving internal/ SDCard, I tried both, when it asks save as, showing jpg only

Did you give CB app permission to access shared files? If not, could be the problem.

Go to main settings (phone's, not app's), then security and privacy, then application permissions, CB app and make sure permission to shared files is on.

I double checked I actually had the latest CB update and guess what, I was still on the previous version. I just updated and now I can no longer save pictures from the CB app so you're not the only one having this problem. You could always skip SAVE AS and OPEN IN a photo editor app and save from there or SHARE and email to yourself. Or even go to the CB website on the browser. Not exactly ideal but all these work for me.

So let me get this clear and straight, if you long press on the Image, hit save, does the Saver Dialog appear?
If it appears does it just not save?

Saver dialogue appear and after I click on save, it is not saving, this has been happening after CB update

Just having another look at this, my z30 will not save any pictures from crackberry. I can make the image a background picture but it is not saved anywhere that I can find. Never had any issues in the past, only tried it again when I saw this thread.

Same here. Both image save and Thanks button not working after latest update.

The Crackberry app update is not allowing me to save images. Frist I tried to save an image using my Z30 which has the latest app. Could not save a picture from the app.

Then I took out my Classic that didn't have the latest app, and I was able to save a picture from this thread. Then I updated the app on my Classic and tried to save a picture again. The second time a picture wasn't saved. It's the app.
