Can you explain exactly what don't look right? I have had 2 z30's and all look exactly as advertised. It's much more shiny and glossy in the pics but other than that it's identical.
I would say the white z30 was a disappointment as it did not live up to my expectation in actuality. Cheap battery cover.

I dunno just looks a little hit better as in curves more at the top or something, can't put my finger on it. I know it's ms I was just wondering if anyone felt the same, clearly not..

Actually, I'm a bit opposite, I feel the ads make the Z30 so boring. But when I see it in real life, the screen looks awesome.

What a strange question as this is basically true for all advertising and thus all products. Companies spend big bucks on taking photos that make their products look wonderful so you will buy their stuff. Just like the Big Mac. No ones going to buy it if you show them a picture of what it really looks like. Imagine BB using photos of a devise that's been used for 3 months, like seriously, that would be the truest representation of their product as something like a phone doesn't stay brand new for long, well unless you wrap it in plastic.

That photo is perfect in every way, that Z30 you have has had your grummy hands all over it.

Normally I do not like white phones. I bought the black Z10 because the white looked cheap and plastically. I also liked the material of the black back better than the plastic of the white. I ended up putting my Z10 in a case so the back was ultimately irrelevant. When I updated to the Z30 I chose white. I actually think the white with the silver looks way better.

That said, why are the choices black or white- what about more sophisticated colours? What about a nice metallic navy blue, or a metallic aubergine to go with their new name BlackBerry? That way, people from afar would be able to know you have a new Blackberry. I hope the new guy in charge of design does a complete design overhaul. Accessories too.

I agree. As soon as I saw the picture of the Z30, I knew I wanted it immediately.

I will say that the screen on the Z30 is a lot clearer compared to the Z10, but the colors look better on the Z10.

I held the Z30 in Selfridges when it first came out and loved it, but that was the black one. I think the white one looms awful what's with the back cover?? It looks quite cheap.

The Q5 had the same problem. The back of the black Q5 looks like the container on microwavable meals - yuck.
