    Hey there,

I've seen a lot of threads about Blackberry devices not being able to play anykind of youtube video, but while my Z30 will play youtube videos directly from the youtube site, it will not play the same videos while they are embedded in a third site, for example, Facebook. I simply get the black screen with the message "an error has occured". Does anyone have any suggestions?

You can turn into Desktop mode (Browser Options Developer tools Desktop mode) to enable flash.
The browser is no longer identified as a phone browser and the pages load normally like on PC. Works good for me!

This I was able to see the world cup on pirate stream websites. Lol all the spam made flash crash after a while requiring a full restart on my device.

Same problem here. Videos used to play fine via external links such as in emails and websites but stopped working in the past week or so.

I don't have a problem playing embedded videos or videos on YouTube. Someone having trouble, please send a link to a site with an embedded video so that we can try it.

There's an embedded YouTube video on this page, and it plays for me with no problem: http://m.crackberry.com/blackberry-s...tv-commercials

Try this one. From an email newsletter.

The only way I can watch this is switching to developer desktop mode and reloading the page .

I never had to do that before.

Probably better off playing the video directly in YouTube anyway. I find mine start to play within the embedded site, but then stutter and buffer terribly. Basically adobe flash is a POS and should be abolished from the Internet.

Just tap on the little rectangle on the lower right corner within the embedded video window that says "Youtube". It will open up the video in m.youtube and play flawlessly.

Go to settings in your browser, turn off flash.

Works like a charm. If you ever run into a site that requires latest Adobe Flash, just turn it on again but since shutting one off, all embedded videos play fine and I haven't come across a website that has asked for Flash. Flash for mobile I hear is slowly going the way of the dinosaur I'm reading anyways.

Everybody criticized Steve Jobs for his iPhones not being Adobe Flash enabled. He said the same thing that Flash was archaic and would go the way of the dinosaur.

Of course, he also said nobody would buy a 7" iPad too...
