i am trying to uninstall apps that i downloaded from the site, every time i try it just switches back to home page and restarts, i have a bb z30...?

Would you perchance be on OS 2876? If so go to BlackBerry World and download the following.
Don't open after download just reboot device.

Are you trying to remove it from the app manager?
Could always swipe from the top, and open setting-up. Go down to app manager, then device manager, click on one of the options at the bottom let's say storage, find the app, click on it and wait for the screen to load then click the garbage can at the bottom to delete it.
