How come blackberry gets bashed when they put in dual cores. But the iPhone 5s is dual core and the lumia 1020 is dual core. Android is the only OS with quad cores. So what's the big deal. Is it just for a selling point to have more cores?

The iphone is also capable of holding its own; it's not like the hardware (soc) put on them is a generation behind everyone else.

Because the A7 is just fast and outperforms the Snapdragon 800. That in itself is worth of praise.

The Lumia 1020 puts camera first, phone second. No one complains because no one cares, because the camera on the phone is easily the best camera that has ever existed on any phone.

People care about BB's use of dual core because BB is attempting a comeback, and they're not making a very big impact with meh hardware.
