Not possible to make white carbon fiber AFAIK, but I think BlackBerry makes their back covers with glass fiber anyway, in which case you'd just need to switch out the gel coat used for the layup process.

I think the White Q10 was the same, it had a battery door that wasn't glass weave.

Shame it can't/doesn't have the glass weave.

That fact in it's self would be a reason not to get a white Z30.

The back on the Z30 black is not carbon but glass weave, same as the Q10. Both black and white Q10 are glass weave, the white just has a different finish so you don't get blue jean dye etc. I'm guessing the back is similar to the Q10 one though it's hard to see in the video and pictures

does back matter so much the pics i posted are of same handset FROM Z30 INDIA LAUNCH EVENT SEE HINGLISH SUPPORT
if i had known back matter so much i would have taken a close up of one without flip cover and with original back cover

I'm very happy with the glass weave look on the black Z30.

But it don't matter if you choose black or white. This phone is off the hook!

I can't wait for the white z30 to be released in Canada... it is gorgeous! Even better now that Otterbox is offering the z30 defender and commuter cases in grey/white! Finally some colour choice for us bb10 fans!

Anyone hear anything about this beauty coming to the great, white north?

Thanks for sharing the video link. Disappointed that BlackBerry went with a smooth textureless back. I would have been happy with the same dimpled texture back that's on the white z10 and q10. Not disappointed enough to not get the phone so! Can't wait to get my hands on the white z30! When is it coming to Canada???
