Is the white Z30 real? it sure is - got mine today

I am sure there is a good reason for the non glass weave on the white Z30. However, I think it would have looked pretty slick with the same back as the black one.

Black or white what does it matter. Most importantly, the Z30 doesn't fall apart like the crappy Z10. Finally solid quality and battery life that we were used to before things got bad. The dark theme may, however, suit the black model better than the white one.

I think the silver works very well with the white... personal preference of course...

from an australian Z10...

Love the phone! White is sharp but I love the black more. With the textured backing of the black, I think the phone would not slip out of my hands as much as the shinny white.

I've had my Z30 since launch. Only used the otterbox commuter for 3 days then decided to go the naked route. My silver Bezel still has no scratches or marks. Sliding in and out of my suit pocket and jeans. I do have the BlackBerry carbonate case as well and used for 2 days, I thought for sure the hard shell plastic would scratch the bottom bezel but still holding up.

The white back cover is just plain plastic sadly, it feels more flimsy than the black and there is no weave or texture.
It also clips on and off very easily, the black is much harder to get off.

Still nice, hard to say which i prefer, front of the white and back of the black :)

I think you're right. That white battery door is no good! You REALLY want to trade battery doors with your friend Tommybb from across the pond! You know, so he can stop his torturous search for his wife's Z30, for a f$!king white battery door, so her Z doesn't look like my frigging Z...help!!!
