Was on the phone with UK BlackBerry support and got talking about the Z30. He believes that the white Z30 will never be released. Stressed that's his opinion rather than an announcement he's seen.

What do you think? Have we seen any planned release dates yet?

I've seen and held the white Z30 - so it definitely exists. If it will be carried by carriers is another question - most prefer to limit the number of SKU's they hold.

Personally, I think the Black is sexier than the white, at least when it comes to the Z30.

You may well see the white used as an exclusive for certain carriers / resellers - seems to be a popular option. But probably not for general availability. Just my 2c

Nope. White is out of stock. I just tried to buy it.

Yes, BlackBerry were supposed to fulfil the stock by the 15th of October, but have not.

Only black at carphone warehouse where I live, white expected 15th November,
no real interest in BlackBerry phones by staff, BlackBerry demonstration phones now removed.

I called them today and they said there is a further delay from the supply chain

It looks like it ain't coming and if so, it's such a shame because I pre-ordered it over a month or so ago

I wouldnt be surprised if the white one only sells in the blackberry website. Most carriers would not want to carry 2 new bb phones, let alone 1

In India stores have dummy white Z30s but don't know when/if the white Z30 will be released. They even showed the white Z30 at launch so hopefully it's coming soon.

I don't think it will be released in mass. If it is released it will likely be units that have been already made or for a company at a predetermined number.

As great as the z30 is, I think it is a phone that was born in a time of extreme desperation. As such I think all plans for distribution and production got halted. In fact it wouldn't surprise me that the only reason it was released at all is that the financial loss of not bothering was only estimated was slightly higher. The smart phone market today is driven primarily by spec sheets and perceived greatness. I think it is too bad that more people don't give blackberry a try. I think a lot of people would get a lot of pleasure out of them if their minds were open.

I've been holding off buying a Z30 for the white version, and all I see are White Z30 accessories plastered all over the place, but no phone?
What is going on and what's with the delay. Perhaps CB can shed some light on the situation. My contacts tell me its coming soon, just don't know exactly when.

I held one white Z30 on Tuesday here in Vietnam. Was surprised that the store has the white version although I haven't heard about it being release here in this forum yet.
It looks beautiful although the back cover is the same as Z10, not a carbon one.
It is cheaper than the black version though. Because of the back cover I guess.
