Anyone have a educated guess to when the Z30 will drop a $100 at Verizon? It's currently $499 which is a fair price but not enough for me to give up my Z10.

Coming Soon . . .

I doubt it will until a newer model comes out. Like the Q20

New model lol. The only thing that got me to go with BlackBerry was it's Storm touchscreen. I would of never owned a BlackBerry if it had a keyboard and a I think over and over again this has proved itself. While you all want a keyboard the rest of the world moves on to buy Samsung and Apple with NO keyboard.

Just wait until they try to sell the Certified Like New refurb pieces of junk inventory they've piled up. They'll be online for half retail price, and probably free with 2 year contract.

April 31st apparently
I don't know. The Z30 has a lot more features/capabilities that the Z10. I have a Z10 and my girl has the Z30 and I am jealous everytime I play with hers because of the additional features. It is a full featured phone for sure and well worth $500.00.
The difference between a person using a qwerty blackberry and a person using a S4/iphone is that the blackberry user wants a productivity device vs a toy and knows they don't have to follow the rest of the herd to get it.

I think you will see a price drop when the Z30 gets close to a year old or when Blackberry comes out with a new touchscreen device, whichever comes first.
April 31 on Verizon or Shopblackberry.com?
And how certain are you?
Uhhhh . . . Was a joke:

LOL! :) Yes, April only has 30 days. I need to pay more attention before I post.
When they believe that they need to, and not a moment sooner. With the exception of the extra stock not being sold, Verizon has nothing to lose as the only carrier (currently) that sells the Z30 in the US. And, I haven't checked recently, but I know some people a while back saw that Shop BlackBerry stopped stocking it online.
VZW literally has the "Z30 market" (if there is one down here) cornered. I once was also waiting for the price to come down, but by now it's probably better to just wait for the next touchscreen device from BlackBerry. If AT&T/T-Mobile had decided to sell the Z30, the price would have definitely been lowered by now.

Black Friday ;)

I paid $29 for my z30 with a 2 year plan on Telus.
I paid $99.95 @ Verizon US with a 2 year contract renewal (in Jan).
My bitchin' Z30 BlackBerry
That mentality doesn't work anymore and will not help BlackBerry. Too many of you so called productivity users are sporting touchscreen android and iPhone now days. Qwerty users are a niche and becoming a smaller and smaller one at that. It's all good if BlackBerry wants to cater to that niche but the all touch market is where it's at. Have only owned 2 BlackBerry phones in my life and they have both been z models. I came from android. You won't get folks like me with a q20.

I started with full touch screen BlackBerry Storm. I would of never tried a BlackBerry if it only offered a keyboard.

Maybe one of these days you will try a good BlackBerry qwerty device and see the light :o)

Their latest deal is Buy one Galaxy S5, get second free! This is actually pretty amazing.
You know who they care about.
Z30 should have been free on contract by now, but I think they know, no matter how much it is if someone wants a blackberry they will pay up. Most people who are set on BB won't just go with a different phone because it is a little cheaper.
