Does anybody know what the back of the white z30 is like - texture etc. The black and white z10 had different textured backs. I can't tell on the z30.

This is the best pic for the back of the white Z30 - If it's real, then obviously diff then the black.

The back is a smooth textureless finish. Almost like PVC. It's not dimpled like the white Z10, nor is it soft touch like the black Z10. It's smooth white plastic.

As if, I think I need a case for it.

Does it feel slippery? My white Z10 always feels like it is going to slip out of my hand.

I'm using an evaluation unit and as stated above its a smooth plastic finish. The blackberry logo has nice silver embossing and is not slippery at all. Can't wait to get my production unit and then will probably get the leather flip case that replaces this back door anyhow. Included picture

The textured back cover on the z30 and Q10 attract dirt. It's not noticeable on Black, but would be nasty on white (which would soon become dirty grey)

It's a shame, because I too would have preferred the same back as the black.

Part of the delay in the Z10 launch was because BlackBerry could not replicate the glass weave on the white model. It had to do with the white materials, nothing would work.

I'm a big fan of the glass weave on the Black model but I love how classy white devices look as well. I think I'll stick with the black however

Bottom bezel is silver. The reason being that the entire band that surrounds the phone is silver, and this extends to the bottom bezel. Look at the side of a Z30 and you'll understand what I mean.

My personal opinion is that the Silver suits the Black device better than it does the White. White and gold would have been a fun option

That's a pretty plain back (similar to the q5) but it won't stop me from getting the white z30. The unit is stunningly beautiful!!!! Good market out there for custom z30 door covers though. Would love a white faux leather.
