    Going thru my phone to clean up and came across this folder. It's recent and was placed when loading android apps

    Anyone know what it's for and where it's from?

    I noticed that even deleting Android apps doesn't clear all the residual files. I opened up quite a significant bit of space just from manually deleting files from apps I had deleted long ago.

    The OSMDROID folder is created by an Android / BB mapping app that uses the OSMDroid mapping framework (Open Street Map for Android framework). Its a replacement for Google maps that can run on BB and Android, since Google maps don't work. If you no longer are using the app that contains the map, the folder can be deleted.
