What's your Plan B?

I'm not on att or Verizon and my carrier will have zero bb10 devices. If I do decide to get a 30 I'll have to switch to vzw.
Idk either. I'm looking for one that works with LTE 850 but there isn't

Maybe sprint can feel my pain and go all out and get the Z30. Yea I'll probably switch to Verizon too.
Plan B already begun. Moving my lines for my little company from AT&T to Big Red. One line moved to a new Z30. Love the phone. Vzw is a real piece of work. Customer service is pretty poor compared to ATT.
As far as customer service goes, they are okay but going through Crackberry first, I've been able to help them help me better.
Or you could do like me and 5 of my friends did.... we got Verizon Z30 and popped in our AT&T sims cards and went about our merry little way. Oh one of those friends is on T-Mobile so he popped in his TMo sim and went about his merry little way ;)
moodyk13 - but no LTE right? And VVM? LTE a must for me - business phone with a lot of data usage and time is money.
I have a Z10. I don't need every single generation of phone released. I can skip the Z30 and get what's next.
I'm on ATT I do get LTE in Manhattan, but other places will pick up 4G.i'm usually around a wifi.so no biggie here.. wanted to switch to Verizon but didn't want to give up my unlimited data
visual voice mail?
Aren't VZW and AT&T on different LTE bands? I would think you'd get HSPA+ speeds at best with AT&T service on a VZW phone. I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time.

It's there. I did lose it on 10.2.1.1055, but as soon as I reverted back to 10.2.0.1809 all was good.
Z30 / STA 100-3 / 10.2.0.1809
There's a number of posts regarding this in the forum. There are areas where some people have reported getting LTE. Personally I haven't seen it here in Phoenix, AZ. I do get consistent 4G, although the speed with that seems to vary.
A longer range plan is to switch to Verizon in 2014 when my wife's contract with AT&T expires.
Z30 / STA 100-3 / 10.2.0.1809
Correct but seems like Att is using band4 for LTE just like verizon.. so some areas have band 4 lte and some don't

I moved company my lines to T-mobile from AT&T. The STA100-5 is flawless on t mobile. No need to go to Verizon unless you want the phone subsidy.

I have LTE on T-Mobile with the STA100-5. I never could get it with the Verizon model. Although I am starting to think I had a defective unit.

Interesting, wasn't aware of this. Thanks for the info. I'm on AT&T so I need to investigate the band in my area as I've had my eye on a Z30.

One friend down in Puerto Rico gets LTE, and one other one says some times his does but I cant remember if it is my buddy in Chicago or NY. It depends on what RF Bands are in your area.
I don't know about VVM as I have never used it and I don't know if any of them use it as we haven't discussed it. But I will ask and if they use it and/or cant use it I'll report back here.
Here are the available bands on Z30 and as you can see, I'm using on AT&T

Ok friend in NY is on TMO, has VVM and it works with .1055 on his Z30.
AT&T charges for it so I wont be able to test it out as I am not gonna pay extra for it. I pay them enough already.
How do you get to that setting??

ATT does not charge for VVM. Only Verizon does.
I bought a Verizon Z30, runs fine on T-Mobile. I get 4GLTE
It depends on your area. I'm getting LTE in Puerto Rico.
