Well, mods can close this thread because it's not possible and there are already multiple threads about it.

I would speculate that it would take a ton of coding, if possible, for BB to provide an Android option for their older BB10 devices and that they can't financially afford to do that. So while you can hold out hope, it is unlikely to happen.

If youre so tired of OS10 and want to try Android, either get the Priv or another android device but Android OK won't be coming to any BB10 device on the market now.

Hey! hi all, with prossessor sanpdragon s4 pro in this good device, can we obtein android for the inmediate future? Like nexus 4, like ZTE S; LG Optimus; some Galaxy S; HTC; others...updating at less or last kitkat? other? Of course, unloking bootloader and cheking some few drivers. Could be? The idea: extend the useful for this amazing smartphone at all theese times, be updated, be safe; be sure; and keeping this standar.

This lines posted by the notable abuser Sequester#WN:

I usually swap my phones every 6 months, and from time to time there are 'keepers'.

The last time I used a phone longer than two years (despite of course buying other phones in the meantime) was back in 2009 when HTC released the HD2 with Windows Mobile and soon some crazy developers over at XDA ported Android to this beast.

The build quality was similar to the Z30 and the phone turned out to be a beast which I kept for well more than 2 years.

I think the same will be true for the Z30.

Similars (hardware) with Android are: Sony Xperia SP; Sony Xperia TL; ZTE Sprint Force and others above mentioned, so... somebody will make possible; yeah!! Why not? Why not?

Pipe dream, plus BlackBerry will shove a dozen lawyers up your **** in the unlikely event you manage to break their encryption and open up the bootloader.

Ok while deliberating if android can run in this amazing smartphone; despite the exaggerated conservatives would be nice upgrade to android; just being updated, always under safety standards that BlackBerry maintained from the outset. Chen should try somehow this possibility. Several smartphones have similar hardware and satisfactorily run that operating system. QNX origin comes from Unix, so in conjunction with the company policy and market familiarity with enhancements that our experts already know, I know this idea could reach more.

Why do people keep making these threads? It isn't possible. Why would BlackBerry allocate resources to projects that aren't going to make them any money?

Yeah let's just put a bunch of effort into putting android on our three year old devices that we lost a ton of money on in the first place. You want BlackBerry android? Get a Priv or wait for the Vienna. There's no other way.

Why not consider changing resource on this big device without thinking about money, but in getting the provision of current resources to continue getting facilities of this great smartphone? You are still afraid to change conservatives. Or get some penny really deny or do not dare to do tests to qualify with this excellent mobil. Already some xda forums are joining ideas about this, you can continue with your position, I respect that; have a happy and prosperous New Year 2016.

If you think you can do it yourself, I wish you luck, but BlackBerry isn't going to do anything unless it's going to make them money. Who can blame them?
