Has that been announced through BlackBerry or a store clerk?
Thanks for sharing the great news. Did you get any information on pricing?

I keep hearing and seeing Oct 31.
Here's Verizon's ad page to wet the appetite. You'll notice the "exclusivity" line as well.Attachment 214863

Store manager who also happens to be a CrackBerry member. Grain of salt here...
$199.00 with an intial $50.00 rebate to bring it down to $149.00. Add on the $35.00 new device activation fee and requisite taxes and you are looking at around $200.00. Not great, but not bad...
We need a leaked document for this device! Especially that it will have wireless charging. Somebody is out there with the information

$299 with $50 rebate would be $250. Add the $35 activation and it's $285. Your math is fuzzy bro.
Just saying. It's $249, period. $50 rebate is for online orders and upgrade eligible, but online only. You get the rebate cause you do all the work.

I don't think 200 bones is bad on contract. It is better then the speculated 300.00 which I believe was said initially. Planning on buying mine out right as I do not want to give up my unlimited data plan
What about out right price?

Indeed it is. I must have been trying to balance my fantasy of $149 with the reality of $249...Original post corrected.
Lol.

I'm getting really impatient.
I have a Bold 9930 on sprint and I have a upgrade available for a couple months already but I'm waiting for word on when/if they're carrying the Z30 I can't wait any longer and I'm pissed that I'm gonna have to settle for the HTC one :(
Ezzy, sprint will be carrying the Z30.
I feel exactly as you. I am with Sprint and I have the chance to upgrade but I am waiting on the Z30. It is not clear whether Sprint will carry it or not. I can't see myself getting an Android.
Sprint passed on the Z10.
You need to add taxes (rate depending on where you live) . The taxes are calculated on the original (outright price) NOT the contract price. So, if the price is $700, your taxes at 8% will be $56. Add this to the $249 and the $35 activation, then you are over $340 on contract.

New post on news section says $199 with no release date but November

There you have it, directly from Verizon. Verizon only, $199, wireless charging. Mid November.
BlackBerry Z30 Available in November Exclusively from Verizon Wireless
Big screens on smartphones mean less squinting when reading emails or editing documents, easier typing on a larger keyboard, and more sharing videos with friends sitting next to you. The newest smartphone from BlackBerry will make that all possible.
Coming in November, the BlackBerry Z30 smartphone with 5-inch HD display will be available online at http://www.verizonwireless.com for $199.99 with new two-year activation. Verizon Edge is also available for eligible customers who want to upgrade for $22.91 per month for 24 months.
Gamers will appreciate the HD screen for mobile gaming on the go, but the BlackBerry Z30 also supports Miracast to wirelessly connect to a compatible HDTV and mirror exactly whats on the smartphone to the HDTVs larger display. Business professionals, for example, can walk into a boardroom with only their smartphone and show their presentation on an HDTV to colleagues or supervisors.
Besides the big HD screen, BlackBerry Z30 includes the BlackBerry Hub, a single place on the smartphone where users can access all their conversations. BBMs, Twitter @ replies, emails, text messages, Facebook event invites and more can be found in one place without launching each app individually. And within BlackBerry Hub is the Priority Hub, which learns what conversations are important to the user, helping them stay even more organized and focused.
Watching a video or editing a document requires attention until suddenly a message arrives and the tough dilemma arises do you continue focusing on watching or editing, or do you leave the app to check and reply to the message? BBM on the BlackBerry Z30 eliminates that dilemma with BBM Now. It gives users a preview of any BBM as it arrives and lets them either dismiss or reply without leaving the app theyre currently using. BBM is now also available on Android and iOS so BlackBerry fans can BBM with friends on those devices.
The BlackBerry Z30 also comes with a 2880mAh battery that can last an entire day (25 hours with mixed usage) and includes support for wireless charging, so users can easily charge it by setting it on a wireless charger no wires or plugging in necessary.

I heard the same about the 14th in Texas today. I just posted a few minutes ago, not knowing that you had begun this thread.
