Downloaded a movie from iTunes and loaded it in the Z30 through BlackBerry Link. The movie appears to be an mpeg-4file with an m4v extension. From what I can tell, it should play on the Z30.

However, it won't. The clock runs as though the movie is playing but no sound and all you see is a still shot from a scene in the movie.

Assuming Apple didn't bug the movie so it won't play on a non-Apple device, any ideas out there?

sounds like a codec issue for the .M4v.
I may be wrong, but doesn't Apple/Itunes kind of "lock" the media to what they were downloaded too? ( I have never used anything Apple White)...
You might try Showbox, all downloads are .Mpeg4, and they play on my Playbook, Z30, and pc, zero issues.
You will have to go to the Amazon app store and install the appstore and then find the Showbox .apk file and you will be all set to go.
