Has anyone had the vibrate on their Z30 stop working?

May want to include more detail about your particular circumstances, such as whether a fall/accident occurred, whether you've recently installed a new OS (leaked vs OTA), whether you've installed any new apps, etc.

But, since this actually did happen to my Z30 after I installed the latest two leaks for 10.3.0.1xxx, I am assuming that this is the same issue you're having. The good news though is that my vibrate functionality returned on its own without me really doing anything (or rather, it didn't seem to respond to any of my attempts to remedy the situation and instead spontaneously resolved on its own one day).

I haven't attempted to install the 10.3.1 leak yet so I don't know if it happens on that OS build as well.

I am running the stock 10.2.1 on Vzw. I don't recall dropping it but if I did I didn't think I dropped my phone hard enough for it to cause any damage. I was just curious if anyone had issues with the virbrate.

You can install it from BlackBerry World. It lets you run some diagnostics on your phone to make sure everything is working properly. I'm a newbie too

So I am the OP and my vibrate still isn't working on my z30. I am on OS 10.2.1.3289. I am still under my warranty so I finally made my way to Verizon yesterday to try and get it fixed. After playing with my phone for about 15 minutes the girl helping me said it might be a software issue and to wait until the next software update to see if that fixes the problem. Not really wanting to pursue it more at that point I said "thank you" and left. I personally think it is a hardware issue but wanted to check with anyone here to see if anyone else had heard that it could be a software issue.

Quick update:

I'm on Z30STA100-3/10.3.1.1016 and my vibrate works without issue now. I definitely think it's software-related.

So vibrate just randomly started working again. no software updates. A couple app updates. Oh well I'm happy
